Matt Thomas is the Principal Broker and Owner of Synergy Business Brokers. He holds a degree in Finance from the University of Nebraska and brings a strong entrepreneurial background to his role.
After launching and successfully exiting a car transportation brokerage early in his career, Matt held executive sales leadership roles across several companies in the automotive sector. He later co-founded a startup where he served as CEO for over five years, guiding the business through growth and eventually a successful exit.
In additional, he holds the Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) designation, equipping him to help business owners build value-driven companies and achieve maximum valuations for exit. He has also completed all educational requirements and passed the exam for the Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) credential—the highest and most respected designation in the business brokerage profession.
With a passion for entrepreneurship and a deep understanding of business operations, Matt now focuses on helping business owners achieve their goals—whether through acquisition or sale. As the head of Synergy Business Brokers, he is dedicated to providing expert guidance and facilitating smooth, value-driven transactions.
